The XVME-6510 will add 7 to 10 years of life to your system with modern technology. This high-performance SBC features a FPGA-based VME to PCIe-bridge that solved the end of life issue with the TSI148 VME interface chip.
The XVME-6510 is a high performance 6U VME single board computer based on the 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor and utilizes the Intel 8-Series QM87 PCH chipset for extensive I/O support. Two ruggedized SODIMM offer up to 16GB of high-speed DDR3L removable memory with 32GB flash memory. The air-cooled XVME-6510 features dual PMC/XMC sites, DVI-D display, and programmable CPU power limits for heat sensitive applications. Expansion capabilities for further customization is available. VxWorks® and Linux® software support, ROHS compliance and extended temperature options are available.

ACT Heat Pipes

There are several types of heat pipes available, including:
  • Vapor chamber: These flat heat pipes are typically used when heat fluxes and high powers are applied to smaller evaporators, as well as for enabling heat flow through very thin devices.
  • Variable conductance: Adding a non-condensable gas (NGS) that mixes with working fluid vapor and a reservoir, creates a Variable Conductance Heat Pipe (VCHP), where the effective thermal conductivity varies with the input power and heat sink conditions.
  • Diode: Diode heat pipes are designed to transfer heat in one direction, and insulate it in the opposite direction.
  • Loop heat pipe (LHP): An LHP is a passive two-phase device that is capable of transferring higher power over longer distances.
