The GVC1001 is an ultra-high performance graphics, vision and AI computer aimed at SWaP-sensitive platforms primarily within ground vehicles, aviation, naval, and industrial platforms.

All the processing power you need

Leveraging the latest ultra-high performance NVIDIA ® Jetson AGX Xavier™ System on a Module (SoM) GPU, the GVC1001 delivers an astonishing 11 TeraFLOPS of compute capability, making it an ideal solution for applications including 360° situational awareness, autonomous sensor fusion computing, EO/IR processing, Degraded Visual Environment (DVE), display processing, moving map and many more.

And the connectivity too

Dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports, two CANBus interfaces, two DisplayPort connections and two USB 3.0 ports mean the GVC1001 supports multiple camera inputs on almost any platform. The GVC1001 also offers a choice of dual Display Port 1.4 outputs for the latest displays for new platforms, or dual single-link DVI for existing or legacy displays to provide full flexibility while reducing costs of upgrade for existing customers.

High performance hardware, innovative software

The GVC1001 is supported with three software offerings, so that customers can select the software package best suited to their specific needs.

  • Baremetal SDK for a basic product composed of Linux for Tegra support, additional drivers, NVIDIA® CUDA® toolkit and associated libraries
  • Image Processing SDK: Abaco's AXIS ImageFlex and EventView for accelerated image processing and manipulation
  • Autonomy SDK: for advanced Image processing and autonomy package with Integration to the Robot Operation System API

Abaco Systems

Abaco's history goes back more than 30 years, to the days of Plessey Microsystems in the UK – one of the first adopters worldwide of the ‘new’ VME standard. A management buyout saw Plessey become Radstone, who acquired ICS and Octec. Meanwhile, equally prominent embedded computing companies including SBS, VMIC and Condor Engineering were being acquired by GE to bolster its offering in that area – and Radstone was acquired by GE Fanuc Embedded Systems in September 2006. GE Fanuc Embedded Systems subsequently became GE Intelligent Platforms and, in September 2015, the embedded computing part of the business was acquired by Veritas Capital. The resulting business was named Abaco Systems.
