With Pickering's BRIC Large PXI Matrix Modules, the use of high-density packaging and integrated backplanes enables a large PXI matrix to be implemented with no user configuration or special matrix expansion kits. These matrices use thru-hole mechanical relays (not surface mount) and can be serviced using standard de-soldering tools simplifying repair and reducing down time. Our BRIC large PXI matrix's integrated design ensures high matrix performance with high signal bandwidth and fewer system implementation errors.

All of our PXI matrix modules can be programmed with our IVI-compliant software drivers and we also have a general soft front panel application so you can become familiar with the modules quickly and to enable manual control. To simplify the management of complex switch systems, we also offer our signal routing software, Switch Path Manager. Our general purpose PXI relay switch modules offer reliable switching in a variety of configurations. They consist of multiple independent relays single-pole single-throw (SPST), single-pole double throw (SPDT), double-pole single-throw (DPST) and double-pole double-throw (DPDT) relays. Our PXI relay switch module come in a variety of relay types including reed relays, electromechanical relays (EMR) and solid state relays—offering you the kind of relays that you need for your application.

We can supply a PXI chassis to meet every PXI application, they range from 8 to 19 3U slots. Selected PXI chassis are available with optional low acoustic operation; suitable for office, laboratory or other environments where low audible noise is essential. These PXI chassis can be optimized to accept multi-slot modules, such as our BRIC™ matrix modules, while only occupying one electrical slot.
