Weiss Technik BSB Test Cabinet - Noxious Gas Test

To prove the resistance of the technical products to corrosive gases, Weiss Technik developed the corrosion test chambers cabinets series BSB. The BSB enables an exact dosage of the corrosive gases with a climate conditioned air volume. The main constituents of the corrosive, atmospheric trace elements are: sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxide (NOx), hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and chlorine gas (CL2). The basic unit consists of a test system of series Klima 3000 with 340, 600 and 1000 liters.

Weiss Technik FAPE/+60

The test installation is used to determine the discharge of formaldehyde by substances which emit formaldehyde. The test requires a precise, reproducible determination of the possible subsequent formaldehyde discharge by wooden materials and components.
  • The test space air is heated to a constant temperature of +60 °C ±0.5 K and purged continuously with 60 l/h of temperature pre-conditioned air.
  • The components to be tested are deposited in the test chamber. The test chamber is designed as a gastight area.
  • It is temperature conditioned via the walls and a water pump circuit.
  • Leak-proofness of the test chamber is monitored via a pressure sensor and displayed on the touch-panel (operating console).
  • Setting of the overpressure is effected manually by means of a manual control valve (1000 – 1200 Pa).
  • In the test chamber, formaldehyde gas is mixed with the inlet air and led into washing bottles filled with demineralized water via the air outlet. The formaldehyde which has gassed out is dissolved in the water.
  • The routing of the outgoing air is effected by a five-fold distribution with solenoid valves. The air can be released freely into the atmosphere or it is routed via four separate pairs of gas washing bottles (not included in the scope of delivery) which are controlled by a timer.

Weiss Technik FAPE/+60/X2

The system operates similar to the FAPE/+60, but is equipped with two test vessels, which can be used independently from each other. The interface displays the testing conditions of both vessels (one indication for each test vessel).

Refrigeration 

  • Cooling for the MCR range is designed for maximum energy efficiency, as the unit senses when it is required to be in operation. This is far more efficient than other ‘continuous compressor operation’ systems, whilst maintaining the same close control of environmental conditions.

Humidity

  • An optional humidifier can be added, providing a humidity range of 50%RH to 80%RH lights off and 50%RH to 75%RH lights on. The use of steam to generate humidity produces sterile atomized water. This is the safest and cleanest method of humidification, eliminating the risk of airborne contamination such as Legionella.

Weiss Technik Heating and Drying Ovens Series VTUW

  • The volume of flammable substances that can be introduced is virtually unlimited. The heating and drying ovens comply with category 2 devices and can thus be installed in zones 1 and 2 of areas where there is a danger of explosion.
