MVG - Rotary Positioners - Performance Series - Virtual EL/AZ Positioners: Light Duty
This unique dual-axis positioner is particularly suited for testing direction-sensing antennas. The virtual elevation axis enables rotation of the DUT around its phase center, placing the mechanical support system invariably behind the DUT. This feature maintains the center of the DUT in one place, while eliminating scattering and interference from the positioning structure.

The LCU AL-4189 - Local Control Unit is a hand-held control box specifically designed and built to be used in conjunction with ORBIT/FR controllers and PCU’s. It provides the attendant (operator, serviceman etc.) with a high degree of flexibility in operating the system elements.
Very useful where space is restricted, the EMC chamber EMC-MC will settle into almost any office space. Its small overall size results from the use of our modular SmartShield chamber lined with our AEPH HyPyr-LossTM absorber technology requiring less volumetric space than in a traditional chamber. This mini compact EMC chamber is applicable in EMC pre compliance and general Research & Development RF testing.
The EH1840 EMC horn combines stable gain performance and low VSWR with wide band frequency operation. The horn is single linearly polarized with excellent cross-polar discrimination. The unique horn design suppresses any possible excitation of higher order modes in the aperture and maintains a well-defined smooth radiation pattern in the direction of the boresight axis throughout the operational bandwidth.
AL-4100 series PCUs provide precision motor drive for DC-servo based positioning and can control up to six axes sequentially. The AL-4107-6A models include a power supply unit (PSU) and a local control unit (LCU).
A high performance RF-shielded EMC chamber specifically designed for emc measurements in accordance with MIL-STD-461E/F and RTCA DO160 requirements.

The CISPR25 emc chamber is designed for emc compliance benchtop testing of automotive components and wiring harnesses . The MVG CISPR25 emc chamber is designed for the emc measurements using the requisite 1 m test distance and for a “typical bench” configuration of 2.5 m x 1.0 m. The unique design requires less volumetric space than traditional absorbers and still provides the volume required to have the requisite distances between the EUT and the walls and the emc absorber and the walls & ceiling. The chamber is designed with anechoic treatment that meets the specified attenuation in the CISPR 25 standard, and it is designed to meet the Long Wire testing specified in Annex J. The polypropylene emc absorber does not undergo the typical age-related deterioration of the typical “foam” polyurethane absorbers. The UH-series, polypropylene emc absorber is also applicable to the radar pulse testing required in some automotive test standards.
AL-58000 model towers are suited for very heavy duty applications with an operating load of up to 17,600 lbs (8,000 kg). They have durable steel masts, which can be vertical or inclined (limited to specific loads). They are available with a steel linear offset slide that is manual hand-wheel style, manual fixed step, or motorized.
