Aperture field probe systems are used to evaluate the extraneous signals that exist in the area surrounding the device under test due to reflections and other transmitting sources.
MVG offers a complete range of field probes of varying sizes and configurations to meet diverse testing requirements.
The AL-9504-2 Emergency Stop (E-Stop) Unit provides a central connection point for external emergency stop panic buttons and positioner controllers that are located throughout the system. In the event of an emergency stop, the AL-9504-2 will command the appropriate positioner controller to disconnect motor drive power on all axes.
The LCU AL-4189 - Local Control Unit is a hand-held control box specifically designed and built to be used in conjunction with ORBIT/FR controllers and PCU’s. It provides the attendant (operator, serviceman etc.) with a high degree of flexibility in operating the system elements.
The AL-4188 series LCUs are portable, wireless hand-held units that are connected to a PCU/positioner controller via a wireless RF link. These LCUs utilize the PCU/ controller’s basic control, limit and supply circuits. They incorporate a rotary switch for axis selection, limit indicators, and a potentiometer for speed and direction control.
AL-4100 series PCUs provide precision motor drive for DC-servo based positioning and can control up to six axes sequentially. The AL-4107-6A models include a power supply unit (PSU) and a local control unit (LCU).
The AL-48060 series controllers drive up to 6 axes sequentially. These popular, programmable controllers provide manual front panel control or remote control of rotary and linear positioners. Optional interfaces are available for position transducers such as absolute encoders, Inductosyn®, and inclinometers.
The AL-4162 programmable positioner controller offers real-time control of positioning subsystems used in near-field and far-field antenna measurement systems. Typically, it may be configured to drive planar scanners and general purpose far-field positioners that are encoder-based or involve simultaneous motion.
The AL-4164 and AL-4166 programmable controllers offer real-time control of positioning subsystems used in near-field and far-field antenna measurement systems.
