Standex Detect - Continuous Liquid Level Sensors
Continuous level sensors provide real-time monitoring across the entire height of a fluid container. These sensors use magnetic reed switches mounted along a PCB, combined with resistors to generate discreet voltage outputs. As a magnetic float moves along the sensor stem, it activates multiple reed switches, enabling precise and uninterrupted tracking of fluid levels. Advanced models like the CLS and HLS series incorporate capacitive or Hall effect technologies for high-resolution, programmable outputs in harsh environments.
More Product Information
The industrial manufacturing industry has been a sector of constant innovation for centuries, continuously leveraging the data from frequent iterations to achieve new solutions. This is no different today, driven by advancements in automation, the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, the integration of IoT, and the shift towards sustainable manufacturing practices. These trends require the development of new testing protocols, thorough safety standards, and sophisticated quality control measures to ensure the reliability and efficiency of increasingly complex systems. Manufacturers must also address interoperability and cybersecurity challenges posed by interconnected devices and digital supply chains. Add the push for eco-friendly, sustainable manufacturing practices in conjunction with rigorous testing for compliance with environmental regulations, and achieving balanced testing facility solutions is no easy task.
Coaxial cable assembly suitable for fixed wiring inside and between equipment used in the microwave band up to 100GHz (continuous operating temperature range: -30 to +85°C).
These cables have excellent formability (shape-retention capability) that make wiring work easy and exhibit superior loss characteristics compared to semi-rigid cables.
Standard connectors are SMA (m) straight connectors, although other connectors can be used as required.
Reed position sensors offer a versatile and contactless solution for detecting movement and position using magnetic fields. Built around a reed switch mechanism, these sensors operate by opening or closing in response to a nearby magnet, enabling precise and repeatable switching. Available in a wide range of sizes, mounting styles, and electrical configurations, they are ideal for applications in industrial automation, medical devices, fluid level monitoring, and consumer electronics. Their solid-state design ensures long operational life, resistance to shock and vibration, and compatibility with low-voltage systems.
