Teledyne LeCroy - Understanding Automotive SerDes Applications and Test Requirements
Join Teledyne LeCroy as we explain the asymmetric SerDes communication technologies for multi-Gb/s in-vehicle connectivity. These technologies are widely used for transmission of data from cameras, displays and ADAS systems and are necessary for deployment of advanced infotainment and self-driving capabilities in future cars. We will describe the technologies for common SerDes interfaces, such as GMSL or FPD-Link, and new upcoming standards like ASA ML/MLE and MIPI A-PHY. We will also describe their required electrical tests.
Topics to be covered in this webinar:
- Technical basics of asymmetric SerDes communications
- Similarities and differences between current SerDes interfaces and ASA ML/MLE and A-PHY
- Test equipment and test requirements
Who should attend? Design engineers implementing high-speed communications technologies in any type of vehicle (automotive, aviation, mil/aero, heavy construction, etc.).
What will attendees learn? How the new technologies differ from what is currently in use and what to expect for test requirements and challenges.
