Maury MW - VNA Verification Kit Series
- S-parameters comparison of user-characterized and factory-characterized verification standards
- S-parameters comparison of user-characterized and factory-characterized verification standards with measurement uncertainty boundaries
- Includes beaded airline, mismatch airline, offset shorts and fixed loads
Characterized Device (CD) Calibration Verification Kits are designed for 1-port and 2-port VNA calibration validation for well-matched and mismatched DUTs. Each kit comes with individually characterized verification standards and is used for calibration validation by comparing the S-parameters of the appropriate verification standard measured by the user and the S-parameters measured at the factory. When combined with Insight™, users will be able to use overlapping uncertainty boundaries to validate a VNA calibration with increased confidence. Verification kits are available with Type N, 7mm, 3.5mm, 2.92mm and 2.4mm connectors.

More Product Information
- Directly compatible with most commercial VNA’s
- Available as polynomial and characterized device kits
- Measure S-Parameters with uncertainty when used in conjunction with Maury’s Insight software platform
Maury offers coaxial and waveguide VNA calibration kits.
Coaxial calibration kits are offered in Polynomial SOLT, Characterized Device (CD) SOLT, and TRL, depending on the connector series. Where available, CD kits improve calibration accuracy when compared to SOLT kits based on polynomial definitions as each calibration kit is provided with individually characterized short, open and fixed load standards, whose S-parameters can be loaded into commercial VNAs directly or when used with Maury’s Insight™ software platform. When combined with Insight™, users will be able to quantify the uncertainty contribution of their calibration kit to their overall measurements. CD cal kits result in TRL-like accuracy with fixed-load SOLT ease-of-use.
Not all amplifiers are created equal, so how can you be certain that an amplifier will work for your needs? You deserve to be confident that the amplifiers used with your test-and measurement lab benches will meet the requirements of your specific applications, are reliable, and are equally well-supported pre-and post-sale. When it comes to application expertise, reliability and support, there is no company that does it better than Maury.
With LUMIMAX® LED Coaxial Lights, a highly diffused light field is shown on the object field through a semi-transparent mirror vertical in the optical axis of the camera. The homogeneous and shadow-free lighting is used for surface inspections, completeness checks and printed image inspections. The Coaxial Lights also meet the requirements for standard-compliant reading and verification of two-dimensional codes.
The optical design of Coaxial Lights necessarily reduces the amount of light emitted. By using the latest generation of High Power LEDs, the new LES series can compensate for this effect and illuminate test objects with high light intensity.
- 5” touch screen display
- Noise output through female N connector
- Ethernet connection for remote control
The NGX1000 programmable noise generator is a high performance, broadband additive white gaussian noise (AWGN) generator in an easy-to-use compact form factor. The streamlined user interface and flat menu structure provides a fast, simple way to add RF noise in a communications system to test reliability, robustness and performance.
All functionality of the generator is accessible through the 5” touch screen or via remote control through an ethernet connection delivering flexible, programmable noise generation for broad use in semiconductor, military, aerospace, satellite, medical and communications applications.
- SPA available from 70KHz to 20/40/70/110/125/145 and 220GHz. Also available for banded configuration to 1.1THz.
- Dual SPA mode available: suitable for Mixers/Amplifier/ Harmonics /Spurious testing.
- SPA available on all ports. User can define which port to use as SPA port.
- Several detection types available in classical mode: Peak, minimum, RMS, Mean.
- Various math functions can be applied on SPA mode like Min hold/max hold/ user defined equations.
- Sources and receivers can be independently configured. Can be used as Tracking Generator.
- For units that have a dual source, a dual drive option is available. Support for external source control also possible.
- Phase synchronization for units with Dual source available. This feature allows users to control and configure the phase between the two sources.
- Source and receiver attenuator available with VNA can be activated in SPA mode. Recommendation to use option 62 (with attenuator on receiver side) for measuring the spectrum content of high-power devices.
- Software option: easy to install and upgrade existing user equipment.
The overall performance of a power meter dependents on the power sensor employed. Maury has a variety of quality power sensors to meet virtually all applications. The NC3400 Series coaxial AWGN noise sources are an excellent choice for applications requiring high ENR and immunity to large incident RF power, such as ATE, radiometer, and radar systems. The calibration accuracy and flatness of the NC3400 Series noise sources are enhanced by their low VSWR. The built-in isolator provides almost constant output impedance as the noise source bias is switched on and off. The isolator also protects the noise diode from incident RF power (consult the factory for higherpower units).
An SMA female connector is standard for the RF output and a BNC female connector is standard for the bias input. Other connectors are available as options.
