Reproduces transient voltage surge phenomena generated in a vehicle and evaluates the immune resistibility of DUT against the surge. The output waveforms are five as high-repeating pulse, giant pulse, field decay pulse, trapezoidal waveform + high-repeating pulse and high repeating pulse + giant pulse.

The SSIEC30V3M System is designed to develop a 1.5 x 1.5 meter uniform field area (UFA) of up to 54 V/m CW up to a 3m test distance for IEC 61000-4-3 testing from 80 MHz–6 GHz. The signal generation, control, and power monitoring equipment shall be mounted in a ventilated equipment rack along with the RF amplifiers.
