More Product Information
The PPS®5000, produced by Safran Spacecraft Propulsion, is a Hall Effect Thruster purposely designed for “all-electric” satellites. It can operate in high-thrust or high specific impulse mode, and offers an operating lifespan of about 20,000 hours. This means it can handle orbital positioning and station-keeping duties for a wide range of telecom and navigation satellites, as well as exploration spacecraft. The PPS®5000 was fully qualified in 2021.
Sensors acquisition and recording for troubleshooting is a cumbersome process in a fully furnished or operational aircraft, especially when time and low footprint are key drivers.
This is no more the case with Safran new solution µMA:
- its cylindrical form factor allows easy installation by just requiring a standard clamp used to mount tubes
- its battery power supply and its wireless connectivity removes the need of installing any harness in the aircraft.
All these capabilities are available while providing high measuring performance and harsh environment ruggedized in line with Safran standard solutions.
The LEGION 400 tackles the new challenges of the space industry, offering enhanced connectivity, faster delivery, improved value, and unrivaled flexibility.
This antenna system is designed to meet the demands of Earth Observation satellite tracking and the high-volume needs of Communication Satellite Constellations.
What sets the LEGION 400 apart is its patented tri-band S/X/Ka concentric feed paired with a sleek and ultra-precise pedestal. It’s equipped to support LEOP & Launch Vehicles with its cutting-edge S-band Single Channel Monopulse auto track feed.
The CORTEX Best Source Selector (BSS) is the ultimate choice for real-time telemetry source selection. It’s the go-to tool for pinpointing the best Telemetry source among multiple antennas tracking the same airframe across various channels.
The Best Source Selector streamlines the selection process by automatically choosing the top Telemetry stream, even from up to 16 sources or more, using a combination of signal quality metrics and other criteria. With its extensive capabilities in aligning paths and compensating for delays, the CORTEX Best Source Selector ensures optimal source selection, no matter where the antennas are located or what kind of range infrastructure you’re working with.
Acquire high quality images with accurate radiometry for LEO (Low Earth Observation) earth observation applications with 65 MP focal plane and control electronics. From a 500 km orbit, SEEING™ 230 Ident has 9 x 6 km2 swath, offering a 1.03m native Ground Sample Distance (GSD), and features a super-resolution optional mode providing 70cm GSD. Thanks to its unique design, SEEING™ 230 Ident has an ultra-low SWaP factor. It is made of advanced ceramic material for strength during launch and stability during operation in space. It is athermalized and gradient insensitive between -10°C to +50°C. It has a low mass, below 8kg, saving both platform and launch costs.
The VS1510 is a video & data recorder/server packaged in a rugged compact chassis (4.92” x 5.75” x 7.28 ” / 9.9 lb), for recording on a Removable Memory Module (RMM).
Recorded data can be replayed in a standard PC/Windows® environment, using specific or COTS mission debrief solutions for post mission analysis.
In addition, typically for ISR applications, data can be replayed while recording on board. The ENERTEC™ mission data processing and distribution units offer cost-effective and dependable solutions for collecting, processing, storing, utilizing, and sharing field and mission data.
These units are designed for both manned and unmanned ground, air, and sea vehicles. They undergo rigorous validation and formal qualification testing, conforming to established standards such as DO-160 and MIL-STD-810.
The PPS®1350 Hall Effet plasma thruster draws on Safran’s long experience with electric propulsion. It is designed for orbital transfer, station keeping and deorbiting satellites and other spacecraft. In particular, the PPS 1350 was the primary engine on ESA’s lunar probe, Smart-1, launched in 2003 by an Ariane 5 rocket. This mission was completed in September 2006.
XONOS enabling high data volume downlink between satellite & ground station. It is our latest state-of-the-art qualified COTS based design perfectly adapted to NewSpace programs, where cost effectiveness, performances and reliability are success key factors.
eZ Viewer is a data post-flight replay software for use with mission data based on IRIG-106 Chapter 10 format, recorded on ENERTEC recorder/server. This software is an easy-to-use, quick setup and intuitive tool targeted for data replay.
Key Features Comprehensive software tool for:
- Configuration of mission debriefing post-flight debriefing / mission analysis
- Data from on the media or archived
