The I3 and I3S Inline Controllers provide overdrive strobe and continuous operation to lights from a small package when larger, more versatile external controllers are not necessary.  Switching between continuous-on, gating on/off and strobe overdrive is seamless. The I3 and I3S employ Ai’s exclusive Adaptive OverdriveTM that optimizes strobe power regardless of input Pulse Width.  The I3 is a default-on device on power-up, whereas the I3S is a default-off device, requiring a trigger to illuminate.  All ICS models employ reverse input polarity protection.  Provides continuous-on and DC gating on/off control as well as 0-10 volt analog dimming. 30 uSec response time. 

The IC Inline Controller provides steady and optimal current to lights from a small package when larger, more versatile discrete controllers are not necessary.  The IC provides continuous-on and DC gating on/off control as well as 0-10 volt analog dimming.  All ICS models employ reverse input polarity protection.  A wash down version is provided with any light to which it is attached is also wash down.  0 – 100% Intensity Control with optional DCS-MP, purchased separately, will provide manual intensity control via an external potentiometer.

The LL137 Series provides a focused line of illumination in a passively cooled design.  Provides a medium intensity level of 280kLux (working distance of 75mm)  Pre-engineered for expandability in 6” (152mm) increments up to 96” (2.44m).  Available intensity control provides illuminance adjustability for every 6″ increment via a 0 – 10v input  Note: If only looking for white illumination, our LL167 Series provides a 74% brighter beam in a similar package.

The LL158 Series produces an oblique (30°) line of illumination for line scan applications in a passively cooled design.  When oriented across a moving web or conveyor line, unlike standard line lights, this linear light’s unique geometry highlights engraved or raised lines that run parallel to the material travel.  Provides an intensity level of 53kLux (working distance of 75mm).  Pre-engineered for expandability in 6” (152mm) increments up to 90” (2.28m).  Available intensity control provides illuminance adjustability for every 6″ increment via a 0 – 10v input.

Our classic LL163 Line Lights are suitable for low intensity, low speed line scan applications.  These line lights are well established and have proven reliability.  Provides a intensity level of 24kLux (working distance of 25mm).  Available in 7 wavelengths including 395nm (UV) and 880nm (IR).  Pre-engineered for expandability in 1.5” (38.1mm) increments up to 81” (2.06m).  LL163 derivatives include LL2912 (3”), LL3024 (6”) and LL3148 (12”) (which represent legacy part numbers)

The LL167 Series provides a focused line of illumination in a passively cooled design.  Only available in White (for color illumination in a similar package refer to our LL137 Series).  Provides a high intensity level of 472kLux (working distance of 75mm).  Available in pre-engineered sizes from 6” (152mm) to 96” (2438mm) in 6″ increments.  A 3″ (75mm) length option is also available.  Available intensity control provides illuminance adjustability for every 6″ increment via a 0 – 10v input

This ultra high intensity line light series is built to handle the most extreme line scan lighting requirements.  Provides an intensity level of 2,100 klx (working distance of 75 mm).  Pre-engineered for expandability in 150 mm (6”) increments up to 2400 mm (94.5”).  Available in multiple wavelengths.  In the event of abnormally high ambient temperatures, the device automatically shuts down when the housing reaches 60°C and resumes operation at 56°C.  Note: Requires third party power supplies – refer to spec sheet.

Part of the MicroBrite™ family of high performance, compact machine vision lights.  This line light series utilizes a fresnel lens for a compact form factor.  Provides an intensity level of 189kLux (working distance of 75mm)  Expandable in 50mm increments up to 750mm

The LN112-30 Lens Adaptor is used for creating a 30° focused beam spread when attached to a SL112 or SL162.

To simplify the mounting process, Ai offers a line of camera brackets for positioning lights under or around the camera lens.  Most brackets are designed to be held in place by the same screw that secures the camera.
