Jade lenses for the industry
JADE lenses are perfectly adapted to technical requirements with a maximum sensor size of 1.2" (19.3 mm) and an impressive resolution of up to 2.4µ pixel. The compact lenses feature a low chief ray angle, making them ideal for use with all generations of SONY Pregius™ sensors. As C-mount lenses, they also offer flexibility and versatility. With five different focal lengths from 12mm to 50mm and an initial aperture of F2.8, you can match JADE lenses to your exact needs. With a broadband AR coating in the 400-1000nm spectrum, they offer an exceptionally high resolution of 24.5M/2.74µm pixels, specifically matched to Sony's 4th generation Pregius S™ technology and similar sensors. This guarantees razor-sharp images and precise measurement results.
Another highlight of the JADE lenses is their anti-shading design, which ensures uniform brightness distribution and prevents shadowing caused by microlenses. This means you always get consistent and reliable results in your image processing. The metal housing makes the JADE lenses extremely robust and ensures reliable and stable image positioning even under demanding environmental conditions. This makes them ideal for applications such as automatic optical inspection, 3D and 2D metrology, and robot vision.

Applications & Markets of the Jade Lenses
Machine vision enables machines to recognise objects, patterns and other visual features through the integration of lenses and image processing.
>>>Automated Optical Inspection
Automated optical inspection (AOI) uses cameras and software to inspect and analyze components for defects in a manufacturing process.
3D and 2D measurement uses cameras and image processing to accurately measure the dimensions and geometry of objects.
Robotic vision can identify objects, measure distances and track motion, enabling robots to perform complex tasks autonomously.
Environmental Facts of the JADE lenses
Our JADE compact lenses are tested to DIN standards to ensure they meet stringent environmental requirements. These tests check the durability of the compact lenses, their resistance to temperature changes and their ability to withstand shock tests and sinusoidal vibration. This ensures that the industrial lenses are up to the task in demanding industrial applications such as machine vision or automated optical inspection, providing consistent performance and reliability over time.
