Southwest Microwave offers a broad family of SSBP multi-coax contacts and assemblies to address RF/microwave packaging miniaturization and flexibility challenges. These push-on coax contacts simplify interconnections and cabling while offering greater system reliability than the alternative of mating a large array of standard coax connectors. These SSBP coax contacts were designed to fit into standard off-the-shelf MIL-DLT-38999 and MIL-DTL-24308 D-Sub connectors and are interchangeable with standard signal contacts available in 20 HD, 20, 16, 12, 8 sizes to accommodate a variety of performance requirements.

SuperMini Board-to-Board solutions optimize interconnect performance for board-to-board stacking applications. Available bullets enable board-to-board spacing as close as 3 mm, assuring transmission line dependability for tightly stacked PCBs. Low mating insertion force allows for an increased density of interconnections per board. Unique bullet design enables extended mating and de-mating cycles.

Southwest Microwave’s SuperSMA is a high performance field service SMA connector. SuperSMA utilizes the basic PTFE dielectric interface (true SMA) and features low VSWR mode free through 27 GHz and less than -100 dB RF leakage. The thick outer conductor wall provides great durability to assure reliability in repeat mating, enhancing component performance. The SuperSMA interface is in accordance with MIL-STD-348.

For microstrip or grounded coplanar waveguide (GCPW) designs, Southwest Microwave solderless vertical launch connectors provide optimal signal integrity and are reusable. Suitable for various board materials and thicknesses, the vertical launch connectors reduce footprint requirements without sacrificing performance, resulting in design and installation convenience.

Many EMC pre-compliance test setups require a ground plane. Not every lab has the necessary space for the permanent installation of a sheet metal ground plane.

The TBST line of shielded tents is designed to suppress interference from ambient noise when carrying out EMC pre-compliance measurements with sizes of 200 cm x 100 cm x 100 cm, 124 cm x 64 cm x 60 cm or 86 cm x 48 cm x 48 cm. The 200 cm and 124 cm tent can accommodate any Tekbox pre-compliance test equipment such as LISNs or TEM-cells. The 86 cm tent will fit the TBTC0/1/2 and all our LISN.
